Daloha: Journal of Community Service operates under the Diamond Open Access model — also known as Platinum Open Access. This model represents the most equitable form of open access publishing:

As a Diamond Open Access journal with no author fees, Daloha relies on sustainable funding models to cover operational costs:

    PT. Gammabeta Edu and Tech provides core funding for journal operations, including the OJS platform hosting, technical infrastructure, and editorial support staff.

  2. 2 Volunteer Contributions

    Editors and reviewers contribute their time and expertise voluntarily, which is standard in academic publishing. Their dedication enables Daloha to maintain high-quality peer review without charging fees.

  3. 3 Efficient Operations

    By utilizing open-source software (OJS) and maintaining lean operations, Daloha minimizes costs while maximizing service quality.

Commitment: Daloha is committed to maintaining the Diamond Open Access model permanently. We will never introduce author fees or change our no-fee policy without extensive community consultation and transparent communication.

D. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are there any fees for submission?

No. Daloha does not charge any submission fees. Authors can submit manuscripts free of charge.

Do I have to pay if my article is accepted?

No. There are no Article Processing Charges (APCs) for accepted manuscripts. Publication is completely free. Rp 0.

Are there page charges or color figure charges?

No. Daloha does not charge for page counts, color figures, or any other production-related expenses.

Will this policy change in the future?

Daloha is committed to remaining a Diamond Open Access journal. Any potential changes would be announced well in advance with transparent justification, but there are no plans to introduce fees.

I received an email requesting payment. Is this legitimate?

No! Be aware of fraudulent emails requesting APC payments. Daloha never requests payments from authors. If you receive such an email, please forward it to admin@gammabeta.id immediately.

E. STATEMENT AGAINST PREDATORY PRACTICES

Daloha strongly condemns predatory publishing practices, including:

  • Charging hidden or unexpected fees
  • Misrepresenting journal services or indexing status
  • Aggressive email campaigns demanding payment
  • Lack of transparent editorial and peer review processes

Our Diamond Open Access model ensures complete transparency — there are no fees, hidden or otherwise. Authors should never be asked to pay for publication in Daloha.
