Journal of Agriculture and Local Food: Authors are required to prepare their manuscripts using the official Journal of Agriculture and Local Food template and in strict compliance with the author guidelines. Submissions must typically be multi-authored; sole authorship is permitted only for scholars invited by the editors or those with an established, reputable record in agroecology, food systems, or sustainability science. All manuscripts must be thoroughly proofread and screened for plagiarism. Notably, for the 2026 edition, a proofreading certificate is mandatory and must be uploaded as a supplementary file. The journal will desk-reject any manuscript that deviates from the guidelines, falls outside its aim and scope, uses an incorrect format, or exhibits poor English grammar. Only submissions that fulfill all Journal of Agriculture and Local Food standards will advance to the review stage. Online submission and status tracking require prior registration and login.
