Marahai: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by Universitas Halmahera. The journal provides an academic platform for the publication and dissemination of community service activities, community empowerment programs, applied innovations, and collaborative initiatives that contribute to the improvement of community capacity and quality of life.

Marahai welcomes articles reporting community-based programs in education, health, economy and entrepreneurship, social development, science and technology, environment, agriculture, fisheries, local resources, and other fields directly related to community empowerment. The journal emphasizes practical implementation, community participation, measurable outcomes, and the sustainability of community service programs.

The journal particularly encourages collaborative community engagement involving higher education institutions, local communities, government institutions, schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders. Interdisciplinary and context-based approaches that provide practical solutions to community needs are highly encouraged.

Community economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, small and medium enterprises, financial literacy, product development, marketing, management, and strengthening of community-based economic activities.

3. Health, Social, and Community Well-Being

Community health promotion, preventive programs, social welfare, family and youth empowerment, community awareness, behavioral change, and activities supporting community well-being.

4. Science, Technology, and Applied Innovation

Application of science and technology, appropriate technology, digital transformation, information systems, technological assistance, and practical innovations designed to solve community problems.

5. Environment, Local Resources, and Sustainable Communities

Community-based environmental management, agriculture, fisheries, food processing, local resource utilization, disaster awareness, environmental education, and sustainable community development.

Community Service Orientation

Manuscripts submitted to Marahai should present a genuine community service or community engagement activity and clearly describe the community context, identified problems, program objectives, implementation methods, stakeholder participation, outcomes, evaluation, and practical benefits. Articles should demonstrate how the implemented activity contributes to community capacity, empowerment, problem solving, or sustainable development.

Manuscripts that meet the journal's editorial, ethical, methodological, scope, and formatting requirements may proceed to the editorial and peer-review process.
