Copyright and License
Copyright and License Summary: Authors who publish with Journal of Statistics and Data Analytics (JSDA) retain copyright in their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. Published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits sharing, distribution, adaptation, and reuse, including commercial reuse, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and source of publication.
Authors retain copyright and other applicable rights to their articles published in JSDA. Publication in the journal does not require authors to transfer full copyright ownership of their scholarly work to the journal or publisher.
By publishing an article in JSDA, authors grant Journal of Statistics and Data Analytics the right of first publication and authorize the journal to publish, distribute, archive, display, and disseminate the article through its official publication platform and appropriate scholarly communication channels.

Authors are permitted to archive and distribute the published version of their articles through appropriate institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal academic websites, or scholarly networking platforms. The archived version should clearly identify JSDA as the place of first publication and provide a link to the journal version where available.
The CC BY 4.0 license applies to material for which the authors or journal possess the appropriate licensing rights. Figures, tables, images, datasets, maps, software, or other material reproduced from third-party sources may be subject to separate copyright or licensing restrictions. Authors are responsible for obtaining any permissions required for the publication and reuse of such materials.
The license applied to a published article does not automatically determine the licensing status of underlying datasets, source code, software, algorithms, or supplementary materials. Authors should clearly indicate the applicable license or access conditions for such materials where relevant.
Figures, charts, statistical graphics, and data visualizations that are covered by the article's CC BY 4.0 license may be reused with appropriate attribution. Any modification that materially changes the interpretation of the original visualization should be clearly identified as an adaptation and must not be represented as the original authors' unaltered presentation.
CC BY 4.0 permits users to adapt, translate, transform, or build upon published material, provided appropriate credit is given and changes are identified where required. Reuse must not falsely imply that the original authors, JSDA, the Editorial Team, or PT. Gammabeta Edu and Tech endorse the adapted work or its interpretation.
Open licensing does not eliminate the obligation to provide proper scholarly citation. Reuse of text, methods, results, data visualizations, equations, or other scholarly content without appropriate attribution may constitute plagiarism or other forms of academic misconduct, even when the underlying work is openly licensed.
