ANALISIS BIBLIOMETRIK KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MENGGUNAKAN PUBLISH OR PERISH DAN VOSVIEWER

Abstract

World research requires a method to identify research gaps from research that has been published in the form of journals or seminar proceedings. One method that can be used is bibliometric analysis using the software Publish or Perish and VOSViewer. This research aims to carry out bibliometric analysis on the topic of critical thinking skills from 2010 to 2023. The data collection method uses Publish or Persih software with the Google Scholar database. The search results are then saved in the form of a CSV file and RIS file. CSV data is used to analyze the number of publications per year, research themes, and subjects used in researching critical thinking skills. RIS data was used to perform bibliometric visualization using VOSViewer. The results of collecting publication data obtained a total of 170 publications, after sorting, clean data was obtained of 166 publications. The highest number of publications in 2015 was publications and the results of identifying research themes obtained data on 19 research themes. The subject that is most widely used in researching students science process skills is physics. The bibliometric network visualization results show that each keyword is interconnected with the keyword science process skills. The relationships between these keywords form 12 clusters with 33 frequently appearing keywords. The overlay visualization provides information about five keywords that can be used as the latest research topics related to critical thinking skills. Density visualization shows that critical thinking skills have the greatest density compared to other keywords.
