Abstracting and Indexing

Discoverability Statement: Dialogue: Educational and Social Perspectives is committed to increasing the visibility, discoverability, accessibility, and citation impact of its published scholarly content. As a newly established journal, Dialogue is progressively developing its presence across scholarly search engines, metadata-harvesting services, citation databases, and national and international indexing platforms.

A. CURRENT DISCOVERABILITY

Dialogue makes article metadata and full-text scholarly content available through its Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. The journal supports discoverability through web-based scholarly search, structured metadata, and the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH).

OAI-PMH

Dialogue provides structured journal and article metadata through its OAI-PMH endpoint, allowing compatible scholarly services and repositories to harvest metadata.

Scholarly Search and Web Discoverability

The journal publishes machine-readable metadata and openly accessible article content to support discovery by scholarly search engines and other academic information services. Actual coverage in individual external databases depends on the harvesting, indexing, and inclusion policies of each service.

B. INDEXING STATUS

Important: Dialogue is a newly established journal. Indexing coverage is therefore being developed progressively. A database or indexing service will be identified on this page as an official indexing service only after the journal or its published articles have been verifiably included by that service. The journal does not regard submission of an application as equivalent to acceptance or indexing.

C. INDEXING DEVELOPMENT PRIORITIES

As its publication history develops, Dialogue intends to strengthen its scholarly visibility through relevant national and international databases. Potential indexing and discovery services include:

Google Scholar Scholarly search and citation discovery
Dimensions Research discovery and citation analytics
GARUDA National scholarly discovery service in Indonesia
Indonesia OneSearch National metadata and library discovery
BASE Academic search engine and OAI metadata harvesting
OpenAIRE Open scholarly communication infrastructure
Semantic Scholar Academic literature discovery

D. FUTURE MAJOR INDEXING TARGETS

After establishing an adequate publication history and satisfying the eligibility requirements of the respective services, Dialogue may seek evaluation for inclusion in major journal indexes such as:

  • DOAJ — Directory of Open Access Journals
  • SINTA — Science and Technology Index, Indonesia
  • Scopus — Elsevier
  • Web of Science — Clarivate
  • other reputable indexing, abstracting, and discovery services relevant to education and social sciences.

Status Notice: The databases listed above are development targets and should not be interpreted as confirmation that Dialogue is currently indexed in those services. Official indexing status will be announced only after verification.

Authors are encouraged to support the legitimate visibility of their published articles by maintaining accurate scholarly profiles and sharing the official Version of Record in accordance with the journal's Copyright and License Policy. Authors may also deposit published articles in institutional or scholarly repositories where permitted. The official journal citation and article URL or DOI, where available, should accompany redistributed copies.

I. INDEXING UPDATES
