Peer Review System
Dialogue: Educational and Social Perspectives applies a double-blind peer-review process . In this process, the identities of the authors and reviewers are concealed from each other to support an objective, independent, and fair evaluation. Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening are normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers whose academic expertise is relevant to the subject, methodology, or disciplinary context of the manuscript. Reviewer recommendations serve as important advisory input to the editorial decision-making process. However, the final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection remains the responsibility of the Editor or Editor in Chief.
Reviewer Selection
Reviewers are selected based on their academic qualifications, research experience, subject expertise, methodological competence, independence, and ability to provide constructive scholarly evaluation.
The editorial team seeks, where reasonably possible, to appoint reviewers whose expertise closely matches the topic and methodological orientation of the submitted manuscript. Potential conflicts of interest are considered during reviewer selection.
Confidentiality
All manuscripts submitted for peer review must be treated as confidential documents. Reviewers must not share, copy, distribute, discuss, or disclose manuscript content to unauthorized parties. Unpublished data, ideas, arguments, figures, tables, or other information obtained through peer review must not be used for personal or professional advantage.
Conflict of Interest
Reviewers should decline a review assignment when financial, personal, professional, institutional, academic, or other relationships could reasonably affect or appear to affect their impartiality. Potential conflicts of interest should be disclosed promptly to the editorial team before the reviewer begins evaluating the manuscript.
Ethical Responsibilities of Reviewers
Reviewers should immediately notify the editor if they identify or suspect plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, citation manipulation, inappropriate authorship, ethical violations, or other forms of publication misconduct.
